One young man missed his bus just to make sure I was okay, holding an umbrella over me like a scene straight out of a K-drama. In that moment, I truly felt the warmth and kindness that makes South Korea so special—real-life heroes with umbrellas and hearts just as open.

Now that I’ve discovered South Korea, all my future holidays will be taken there—no question. The culture, the food, the people, and the sheer beauty of the country have completely won me over. Every visit leaves me wanting more, from quiet mountain temples to buzzing city streets and coastal escapes. In fact, I often find myself wondering… can I just move there? There’s something about Korea that feels both exciting and deeply comforting, and I know it’s a place I’ll keep returning to over again.
