Meet Charles, who brings an international perspective to the team. Born in Las Vegas, USA, he later moved to the UK where he completed his schooling. Standing tall at 6ft 7, it’s no surprise that basketball became his first passion, and to this day he still follows the sport with great enthusiasm. His early years were shaped not only by sport, but also by a strong curiosity about the wider world.

Travel has always been a big part of Charles’s life. With both parents working in the cruise industry, he grew up surrounded by stories of far-flung destinations and fascinating cultures. That early exposure sparked a lasting love for exploring new places, which naturally led him to develop a particular passion for cruise travel. He has a deep appreciation for the unique way cruises allow people to see the world while enjoying a sense of comfort and community at sea.

Among all the destinations he’s explored, Charles has a special connection with South America. He’s particularly fond of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, each offering its own blend of history, landscapes and vibrant culture. For Charles, the combination of wide open spaces, horses and a glass of rich red wine makes this region a dream to return to time and again.
