An Introduction to Landa
Born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, I’ve always loved music, travel, cooking, beauty, films, and languages, and explored various careers—from beautician to multimedia producer. But travel has always been my greatest passion. As a child, I spent summers with family in Sicily, imagining life as a local. Later, I explored many European cities, absorbing their culture and food, and even lived in Texas and Louisiana for several months to experience American life.
Like many, I raised a family, and when my children grew older, the travel bug bit me once again. My fascination with Japan began in childhood, sparked by the TV series Shogun. The beauty of Maikos and Geishas, the honour of the Samurai, and the stunning landscapes captured my imagination. Similarly, my interest in Korea grew through K-dramas, which naturally led me into the vibrant world of K-pop.
My first visit to Japan was magical—everything I had dreamed of since watching Shogun. My first trip to Korea was when I fell completely in love: with the culture, the people, the food, the music, and the dramas—truly all of it.
Meeting Jo and Allyson gave me a new direction—where passion became a lifestyle and opened new doors. A shared love for Korea and Japan inspired me to turn my travel dreams into reality and help others discover these incredible cultures.
