On arrival transfer to Seoul and check into your hotel for your 5-night stay in Seoul. Ease into your first night in Seoul with a mix of relaxation and gentle exploration. Take some time to unwind and enjoy a taste of the city’s atmosphere at your own pace. You will likely feel the effects of the journey, so we have a few suggestions of things you can do to keep you moving until it’s time to head to bed.

Seoul

Feel the vibrant pulse of Myeongdong, with its lively street markets, irresistible street food, and an array of cosmetic shops. Step into the living history of Gyeongju, famously known as Korea’s “museum without walls.” Begin your exploration at the UNESCO-listed Bulguksa Temple, a masterpiece of ancient Buddhist art and architecture that reflects the grandeur of the Silla Dynasty. Nearby, the Seokguram Grotto houses a magnificent stone Buddha, a serene figure that has inspired pilgrims for centuries. Busan

As the day winds down, stroll through Dongbaekseom Park, where coastal trails and ocean views provide the perfect evening escape.

Your second day offers a deeper dive into Busan’s cultural soul. Start at the Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside neighbourhood transformed into a kaleidoscope of colourful houses, quirky art installations, and charming cafes. Continue to the magnificent Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, dramatically perched on the cliffs overlooking the East Sea, where the sound of waves enhances its spiritual calm. Jeju Island

Set off on a magical four-day escape to Jeju Island, South Korea’s natural wonder, famed for its volcanic landscapes, pristine beaches, and cultural treasures. Begin your journey in Hallasan National Park, where Korea’s tallest mountain rises above lush forests. Take one of the scenic hiking trails through diverse ecosystems and enjoy sweeping island views from the summit. Afterwards, relax at Jeongbang Waterfall, one of the few waterfalls in Asia that plunges directly into the ocean, creating a spectacular meeting of land and sea.

Day two begins at Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), a UNESCO-listed volcanic crater offering some of the best dawn views in the country. Continue your exploration at Manjanggul Cave, one of the world’s longest lava tubes, where unusual rock formations reveal Jeju’s fiery geological history. Later, wander the preserved streets of Seongeup Folk Village, where traditional thatched-roof homes and cultural artefacts bring the island’s heritage vividly to life.

On your third day, embrace Jeju’s relaxed coastal charm. Spend the morning on Hyeopjae Beach, famous for its turquoise waters and fine white sand, perfect for a swim or a leisurely stroll. Seoul

Today you say goodbye to Jeju Island and head back to Seoul.

 

When you return to Seoul you will stay in Gangnam-gu for 2 nights. Discover Gangnam, where modern luxury meets rich tradition. Explore chic boutiques, vibrant K-pop culture, and serene temples all in one district. Uncover the hidden gems that make Gangnam more than just a trend!

Seoul to UK

Your time in Seoul comes to a close today. We usually schedule flights around midday, allowing you to enjoy breakfast and perhaps a final walk or some shopping. Should you wish to extend your stay a little longer, a later flight can be arranged, with arrival into the UK the next day.
