Perhaps begin your South Korean adventure in Paju, a city steeped in history and creativity. Explore the DMZ area for a rare insight into Korea’s divided past, then wander through Paju Book City, an extraordinary cultural hub where architecture and literature come together. For a slower pace, enjoy a riverside stroll before travelling back into Seoul to Namsan Tower. From its observation deck, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the capital, while the surrounding Namsan Park offers leafy trails and peaceful spots to pause. Round off your day with a visit to Coex Mall, an enormous underground shopping paradise, and marvel at the striking Starfield Library with its soaring bookshelves and open spaces.

Seoul’s energy is best felt in its bustling neighbourhoods. Lose yourself in Myeongdong, where lively street stalls, sizzling snacks, and endless beauty shops create an unforgettable atmosphere. Step into the grandeur of Gyeongbokgung Palace to watch the colourful guard ceremony and explore the landscaped palace grounds. Busan

Kick off your Busan adventure at Haeundae Beach, the city’s most famous seaside spot. Relax on the sand, dip your toes in the water, or try out a fun water sport. If you’re up for it, pop into the Busan Sea Life Aquarium right nearby for an underwater adventure. Later, take a gentle walk around Dongbaekseom Island Park, where forested trails and ocean views make for the perfect first evening.

Spend the next day soaking up Busan’s culture. Wander the colourful streets of Gamcheon Culture Village, with its murals, art shops, and little cafés tucked into the hillside. Afterwards, head to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the most beautiful seaside temples in Korea, where the ocean stretches endlessly before you. As night falls, dive into the hustle and bustle of Jagalchi Fish Market and Gukje Market—two of Busan’s most famous spots for street food, fresh seafood, and local energy.

Wrap up your trip with a visit to Taejongdae Resort Park, known for its dramatic cliffs and ocean views. Hop on the Danubi Train or take a leisurely walk to the observatory for sweeping vistas of the islands beyond. In the afternoon, enjoy a dose of creativity at the Busan Museum of Art, before finishing your stay with a sunset cruise along Busan Port, watching the skyline light up as you reflect on your time in this vibrant coastal city.

Jeju Island

Start your Jeju escape with a trip to Hallasan National Park, where trails wind through forests and volcanic scenery. Whether you fancy a proper hike or just a shorter walk, the views are unforgettable. After stretching your legs, head to Jeongbang Waterfall, one of the only waterfalls in Asia that flows directly into the ocean. It’s a peaceful spot and a great way to settle into island life. Later, take in the fresh sea air at Seopjikoji, a beautiful coastal headland with wildflowers, lighthouses, and stunning ocean backdrops.

No visit to Jeju is complete without climbing Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak). The hike is short but rewarding, and the crater views are even more magical at dawn. From there, explore Manjanggul Cave, a vast lava tube with incredible rock formations formed thousands of years ago. Afterwards, step back in time at Seongeup Folk Village, where you’ll find traditional thatched houses and a glimpse of Jeju’s long-standing customs. Round off the day with local specialities like abalone stew or Jeju black pork barbecue.

Spend your final day enjoying the island’s calmer side. Start with a visit to Hyeopjae Beach, famous for its clear turquoise water and soft white sand—perfect for a swim or just relaxing. Just down the road is Hallim Park, a mix of lava caves, botanical gardens, and exotic plants. Later, find a moment of peace at the Spirited Garden, filled with bonsai trees and flowing streams. Before you leave, stop by Cheonjiyeon Waterfall or the O’Sulloc Tea Museum, where you can sip fresh green tea and stroll through lush tea fields. It’s the perfect way to end your Jeju adventure before heading back to Seoul.
